Tax Deductibility of Transaction Costs

Curious whether any investment bankers / corporate attorneys would be interested in partnering with national tax specialty firm providing review of whether various transaction costs in M&A deals could be deducted for tax purposes.  Generally if company (acquirer or target) does not analyze costs, they must be capitalized.  Responses are appreciated.

Extreme Makeover - Business Edition
